Terry Silverman RN

Terry Silverman is a registered nurse with nearly 35 years of clinical experience in facial aesthetics. Terry began her nursing career in the ICU at Massachusetts General Hospital, and became one of the youngest RN's at Mass General to be promoted to charge nurse of the Surgical ICU.  With her attention to detail and aptitude for surgical complexity, Terry then transitioned her skill set from critical care nursing to facial aesthetic surgery.

Terry’s experience as a Surgical Nurse and Nurse injector has spanned 4 decades. From her role as an assistant in the operating room, to her management of clinic patients, Terry developed an intricate understanding of facial aesthetics. One of Terry’s greatest talents is her extensive proficiency and understanding of minimally invasive facial injections. Terry’s expertise as a nurse injector draws from her 34 years of experience working in facial aesthetics.  She currently utilizes the hyaluronic acids, such as Juvederm and Restylane, as well as Radiesse along with the neurotoxins such as Botox and Dysport.

In addition to her vast experience in the field, Terry is beloved by her patients for her warm and comfortable demeanor. Terry is known for being a strong patient advocate and a careful listener. She is sensitive to the delicate nature of facial aesthetics and is a proponent of natural, soft, balanced results.  Terry’s thoughtful, considerate personality and attention to detail have earned her a loyal following of happy, grateful patients.  As one patient said, "Terry provides patient care with grace, ease, sincerity, and a great sense of humor."

Dr. Lim and Dr. Weintraub are honored to work along-side Terry and recognize her as a rare treasure in the field of facial aesthetics.

Sandy Cowell, Health Coach and MiraDry Expert

Sandy is an expat New Zealander, who has been working in the field of Nutrition in the Bay Area since 2011. She is certified in Comprehensive Nutrition, Health Coaching, Dietary Supplement Sciences, and is a qualified raw food chef and instructor.  She is also the author of ‘The Forgiving Fork’, a book aimed at young New Zealand women combating food and body image issues.  She is a member of the National Association of Nutrition Professionals (NANP).

Sandy’s food and health philosophy are strongly focused on the individual.  She says the ‘one-size-fits-all’ style of eating isn’t effective or practical.  “It’s important to get to know each person and find out who they are, what their individual style and circumstances may be, and what they can realistically do.  From there, together, we can tweak their diet until it fits like a glove,” she says.

Sandy will be providing nutritional guidance for individuals going into their surgery and recovery, working with patients who need help and support for longer term weight loss or maintenance goals, and those who seek to improve their overall health through diet and lifestyle changes.  In addition, she can provide detailed, painless body analysis (so you can see what you’re really made of), assistance with meal planning, vitamin injections, and individualized supplement recommendations.

Sandy is also our in-house miraDry expert.  Having undergone the procedure herself, she became a believer in the life-changing effects of miraDry and now lends a very practiced and empathetic hand with the treatments.

Sandy’s two children are in their late twenties, and live with their spouses in Wellington, New Zealand.  In her spare time she enjoys music, traveling, films, cooking, pretending she isn’t interested in Game of Thrones.  She is pursuing an interest in Anthropology.
