Dr. Angeline Lim
Dr. Angeline Lim is a longtime Midwesterner who has been thrilled to discover the joys of living in the Bay Area.
Born and raised in Ohio, Dr. Lim did her undergraduate work at the University of Akron and graduated summa cum laude. Dr. Lim attended medical school at the Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine, where was she inducted into the prestigious medical honor society, Alpha Omega Alpha. She also donated her design and artistic talents and founded the school’s journal for creative expression, The Aphasic Muse.
After receiving her medical degree, Dr. Lim relocated to Stanford, having been chosen to join one of the top plastic surgery residency programs in the country. As a graduate of this world-class institution, Dr. Lim is well-trained in all aspects of plastic surgery and experienced in the latest plastic surgical techniques and methods. She is also board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
Dr. Lim has contributed to multiple publications, including book chapters and articles in peer-reviewed journals. The topics have mirrored her current practice interests, including anesthetic guidelines for cosmetic surgery procedures, body contouring in weight loss patients, and innovative ultrasound-assisted liposuction techniques. She has also given several invited presentations at regional and national meetings.
Dr. Lim lives with her husband and son in Cupertino. She still tries to find time for volunteering, working with groups like OneBrick and the HealthTrust of Santa Clara, and wholeheartedly supports the Mothers' Milk Bank. In her ongoing quest to blend in with the native Northern Californians, she has taken up gourmet cooking (and eating), backpacking, running, and most recently, yoga.
